Character Develpment
It may be the lead character, but it isn't the only one!
This class is designed for students who have already started their writing project and have shell characters (i.e., characters that have not been fleshed out) that must be brought to life.
Throughout the sessions, we will create their backstories and implement storyboards that provide a visual for each character and show their relationships to one another.
About Our Teachers
It all begins with the teacher, but not just any teacher, a writing enthusiast, a logophile, a bibliophile, a... very passionate instructor!
Each Birch & Ink faculty member has been thoroughly vetted to ensure that he or she has the proper skill set and background to teach one or more of our classes.
Our teachers range from English Literature professors to published authors, each one having a unique talent that is thoughtfully paired with a class that allows that talent to shine and the students within it to thrive.

This series will begin on June 21, 2025, and will continue through to the July 12, 2025.
Time
It will be held once a week on Saturdays from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (CST)
Location
All of the classes will be conducted remotely via videoconferencing. The link will be provided to you once you have successfully registered for the series.

- A quiet Room
- Internet Connection
- A device that is equipped with audio, video, and internet access
Attire
We love, in many cases, to see people express themselves through fashion. With this having been mentioned, we do require that all students wear appropriate clothing.
